Training – Coach's Plan · Updated October 24, 2026
Training keeps your training on your phone. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. There are no accounts either, unless your team's admin gives you a code to share with your coach.
Your workouts, the sets you log, your notes, your records and the coach's plan files you import are stored on your device. When iCloud Drive is on, the app also saves a backup to your own iCloud Drive, which only you can reach.
Use AI is a single switch in Settings. When it is on, the app sends only what each feature needs to our server, which passes it to an AI model and returns the answer:
Nothing is sent to AI until you allow it in the app, and nothing sent is stored, except the quotes from notes you share with your team, described below. Our server keeps no copy of what it receives and does not log request contents. It runs on Cloudflare Workers and reaches AI models from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI and Typesafe AI through the Vercel AI Gateway; these providers process the text only to answer the request and do not use it to train their models. Turn Use AI off and nothing leaves your phone for AI.
If your team's admin sends you a code and you enter it in Settings → Team, the app shares with your team's coach, from then on and from the last twelve weeks: each finished workout (its date, title, exercises and every set) and the titles and dates of your coming two weeks of plans. Your notes are shared only if you turn on Share notes. How hard a workout was and any sore or hurt report you enter after it are sent with that workout to your team, whether or not you share notes, and are never sent to an AI model. With Use AI allowed and Share notes on, the notes you share are also read by an AI model (Jev, from Typesafe AI, reached through the Vercel AI Gateway) to point out to your coach any mention of pain, injury, illness or sleep, quoted in your own words and kept with that workout until it is deleted or you stop sharing. This is stored on our server (Cloudflare D1) under the name your admin gave you, and only your coach and your team's admin can see it. Your team's admin, like your coach, can see your shared workouts and notes, on their phone and in the coach portal on the web, which they sign in to from their phone. Your coach and your team's admin may also keep private notes about you on the server, for themselves only; you do not see them, and a note is deleted when either of you leaves the team. Whoever plans your team's weeks may also keep notes on each week's plan, which may mention you; you do not see them. Tap Stop sharing in Settings → Team and everything shared is deleted from the server; your phone keeps its own copy. If you never enter a code, nothing is shared.
On a team, your phone also sends the column names you picked in Settings → My columns, so the right sessions reach you, and receives the weeks your team publishes: the coach's plan, either read once from the coach's sheet by the admin or written by the coach in the coach portal, and sent to everyone on the team. A coach who writes the week there can also choose which athletes each part of it is for; that choice is kept with the week. A sheet a week was read from is kept on the server for the team until that week is unpublished. Those plans are the coach's training, not your data.
With New week notifications on, your phone's notification token is kept for your team so we can tell your phone when a week is published; it is deleted when you switch them off or stop sharing.
If you add an absence (a day you won't be there, with a reason if you give one), it is sent to your team and stored on our server for your team's coaches and admin, who are told by notification; it is deleted when you remove it or stop sharing. A coach or admin with Absences notifications on has their phone's notification token kept for the team for that; it is deleted when they switch it off.
Training is not directed at children under 13.
